Worn stone, creeping moss, and the hush of a path less travelled - this photograph captures a haunting corner of Egyptian Avenue in Highgate Cemetery, one of London’s most iconic resting places. Opened in 1839 as part of the ‘Magnificent Seven’ garden cemeteries, Highgate quickly became a symbol of Victorian attitudes toward death, remembrance, and grandeur in decay. Here, timeworn tombs line the path like silent sentinels, their neoclassical facades steeped in memory and myth. Framed in soft shadow, this image invites quiet reflection on the passage of time and the enduring beauty of the forgotten.

This photograph is professionally printed on FSC® Recycled certified fibre, made from 100% pre- and post-consumer waste. Coated with a natural clay finish, the paper is fully recyclable and biodegradable, with a smooth satin texture that beautifully enhances detail and depth.

Your A4 print (approximately 8.3 ins (H) x 11.7 ins (W) will arrive with a sturdy backing board, protected in a clear compostable sleeve - ready for display or gifting.

If you select the framed option, your print will come presented in a striking black and gold frame, measuring approximately 12.2 ins (H) and 15.8 ins (W).
